Welcome to City Outings! City Outings is an online community formed to help begin and build friendships among the GLBT community. Our goal is to act as a catalyst, organizing dinners and activities to give the gay community a place to come out and meet like minded individuals. In todays world, it can be difficult to meet friends with similar interests. There are plenty of online hook-up sites, so we have decided to build a site geared toward bringing people together and building friendships. Please be sure to sign up for an account, and we will add you e-mail address to our e-vite list. When new events are posted, you will be notified via e-mail. Please know that your privacy is important to us! We will never share your personal information with ANYONE, nor will we ever participate in SPAM.  If you would like to be removed from our mailing list, simply drop us an email and you will be removed immediately.

Thank you for your interest, and please be sure to tell your friends about CityOutings.com!

Note: Certain sections of our website REQUIRE an account for viewing.  Setting up an acocunt is fast, easy and free.  It is a small measure we have taken to keep information contained on our site and forum somewhat private.

Using Templates Effectively
Written by Kevin Kelley

Your Mambo installation comes bundled with a default template and CSS. The template that displays when you first install the site is optimized for screen displays of 1024 x 768 and higher. In addition, we have included a second version of this template optimized for 800 x 600 displays.

Mambo supports a number of options which allow you to change the display of the content on your site, enabling you to achieve a personalized look and feel without having to modify the template file.
